Almond Valley
Bridge is the backbone spine of Livingston,
300 meters long and 20 meters high the bridge carry’s the A899 Livingston road thought
Livingston connecting the A71 with the M8. The Bridge is
the largest in Livingston and has been designed so that
the river and the land beneath it lay undisturbed. The bridge cost £1million
and opened in 1972. In the same year it was awarded the
Constrado
Structural Steel Design Award.
