Almond valley heritage Centre formally known as Mill Farm located next to the River Almond in Livingston village. It was in a poor state when the Livingston Development corperation found it. Seven of the Corporations employs decided to rebuild the old mill for free and bring it back to its former glory. The Mill farm restoration group was founded in December 1970 and the mill was back in fully working order by 26th April 1975. The mill is a big attraction in Livingston with its many animals, museum kids soft play area and fully working mill.
