Inveralmond Community High School opened in 1978 and was to cater for a roll of 1,600 pupils serving Ladywell and Howden. The school was provided with a swimming pool, theatre workshop, squash courts and cafe for community use. The school runs many night classes such as wood turning and fitness classes.
