    it is being built in a completly seperate area but I think this could mean the death of them same as homebase and B&Q

    no I was meaning B&Q's impact on Homebase as homebase is shutting partialy because B&Q have been taking most of the buisness

    I thought Homebase being taken over by Sainsbury's as the reason for their demise?

    Homebase and sainsburys are owned by the same company, homebase decided to pull out of livingston because their sales went downhill after B&Q moved in so the company decided to move sainsburys in instead

    Competing against themselves was silly. I note Sainsburys have plans for a store in Broxburn too?
