Phase 1 of Livingston Skate Park opened in 1981 and attracted people from all over the UK. In 1992 phase 2 of the skate park was completed. Livingston Skate Park has been featured in many TV programs and is one of the best skate parks in Europe. The side wall to the park used to be used for climbers to practise on but isn’t used any more. Once a year the skate park hosts The Pure Fun Skate Party where there is loads of people and loud music.
