On the northern slopes of the river almond sits St Margaret’s Academy. Livingston’s only Roman Catholic Secondary school. St Margaret’s replaced Bathgate’s St Mary’s and our Lady’s in Broxburn and Some of the staff relocated to Livingston. This state of the art modern building is designed on the principle of an American shopping mall. There’s around 1,000 pupils attend the school.
