Craigshill Shopping Mall was the town centre for Livingston till 1977 when the Almondvale Shopping Centre was opened. The Mall was one of the first covered shopping centres in Scotland. When it opened it hosted the town’s first banks, hairdressers, chemist and travel agents. The Mall has been renovated since opening and has been cut in half one half is a Supermarket and the other half hosts various shops.
